Howard Wilkinson............

............Is a Grade A To$$er. He is a bad manager and isn't fit to manage our country at ANY level. Tonight's result was embarrasing, although only a friendly i got quite worked up about how much i hate him. Any blind fool could see that President deserved a place in the squad, and yet somehow he failed to notice him! He prefers to play Premiership rejects and expect to do well. This has been mentioned in other posts so i thought i would bring it to light!

Bring in Stevie, nay, anyone who could do a half-decent job at managing our country!!!!!!

I am going out to buy some biscuits to calm myself down.........

4-0 at home, wow.......Mr. Wilkinson has some explaining to do, he's got a great bunch of youngsters there.

And Clinton might have something to say, the strikers picked ahead of him clearly did the business.....

Wilkinson's sides bore the living crap out of me, always have done. They perfectly reflect his personality, dull, uninspiring and totally lacking in ideas. He has some good players at his disposal for the U-21's and I bet he blames the pitch!. Didn't exactly bother the Spaniards did it Howard. F***wit!.

Just a thought

He's got one of the best under 21 teams around (when he picks the BEST players that is) and he still manages to make them s**t (if you excuse the pun).

I don't understand. Every single person in football knows Howard Wilkinson is a complete c**t who is unfit to even manage a school football team. Why can the FA not see this when everyone else can???

Um no he didnt. It must be a decade now since he won what was known as Divison One (not Premiership.. pedantic i know). That was with the likes of Lee Chapman, Dave Batty, Tony Dorigo et al. Really proved his ability by bringing through a total of zero young players. And this is the manager of our U21s?? The sooner he is out the better..

The man is a complete penis! A throwback to the 'boot it high' days of the 80's! Peter Taylor had shaped one of the most exciting England U21 sides I've seen in years, then this tosser (Technical Director my arse!) sacks him and the team immediately changes to a long ball side full of untried Premiership reserves!

I for one am actually glad Clinton isn't in the U21 squad with this tw@t in charge. I don't rate Clinton as a centre-half!

1991-92 was the LAST season the top flight was called the "First Division", that was the season Leeds won the league.

1992-93 was the FIRST season of the "Premier League". If my memory is correct, Leeds didn't win a single away game that season.

I believe you're right Ian, they didn't win any away fixtures in the league that season. I don't know how many games they won away overall, but I believe their first domestic away win was at Charlton in the F.A. Cup.

This idiot won the league title becuase he made a lucky buy in Eric Cantona, he then stupidly sold him to ManUre and look what they did! He also paid around £2 million for Vinnie Jones....that about sums him up.
