My opinion of Warnock is probably exactley the same as yours before he took over your club.
I haven't even once mentioned tonights result, apart from askinbg someone who felt the need to have a pop whether they had actually watched the game or just fancied abusing someone. |

But what I did see is all of which the original poster mentioned, and for a damn proud guy, who like all of us hates losing - is an extremely honorable thing to do.
FYI, what I did see following Warnock clapping your Wurzel fans, was wanker signs and mocking waves - followed by a punch, so those twats unfortunately cloud any honour the other attained. |

| My son has played for both Bristol city and palace at youth level and was trialling at Yeovil the year they won promotion to the Football League. Gary Johnson was manager at the time and I had cause to speak to him on 2 or 3 occassions. My memory is that he was always approachable and he was an encouragement to my son. Since then as far as I am concerned whenever I see him interviewed he has always been a credit to himself and the club that he manages. Whilst I wanted Palace to win tonight and am very disappointed I wish Gary Johnson and his Bristol team all the best for the play-off final. It's not the end of the world and I am looking forward to another roller-coaster ride following the Palace next with season. |

This is what I think.........
We were the better side last night.
We looked more composed and you looked nervous.
when you scored.....our body language said it all. We looked drained.
If the penalty had gone in we would have won it.
4 great games between us all season.
Two great sides, two great managers and both sets of supporters gave their all too.
Our support last night was fantastic and it was noted that a number of your fans came over and applauded us after the pitch invasion.
Good luck for the final, but one thing fella.....you need to practise your shooting from outside the box. Your never gonna score from there playing like you do
*** me! 4 screamers.....and that my friend was the difference between the two sides......that and the fact that had Ben's penalty been about 2 inches further right we would ahve won it. that's how close it was.
I watch Palace a lot (far more than I should do) and last night's game had everything, drama, tension, penaties, touchline flare ups and it makes it all worth while. I loved the whole night (even though we lost). It's these games that make football the most exciting game in the world. There is so much at stake!
