just picked up this book from the libary..by Shaun tordoff about hull,s hooligan eliment over 4 decades, apparentlty in the old days you could walk around the whole ground and this is the paragraph that caught my eye.(the first club to exsploit this was crystal palace of all people, city were cruising the game and Ian butler had just put us in front, the south stand were loving it,teasing a small band of palace fans with a chant of can you here the palace sing?NO-o-o.wheres the handbag?very tame by todays standerds, but highly amusing then.there was a suddan surge from the back of the south as a dozen or so palace fans wearing hobnailed boots and full length darkblue raincoats burst into the stand sending city scattering.an empty space appeared and the palace fans were giving it ,come on boys as boots and fists connected,Hulls citys, hsouthstand had lost its innocence)that was about 69_70 i think wonder were them old boys are now?

Dorking .Eagle
Probably the same mob who Arthur Wait lambasted in the club yearbook around that time for causing mayhem and criminal damage at an away game in Plymouth!

Numerous deckchairs were smashed and lobbed off the pier by all accounts!
Baldy
I can make a guess at one person involved in that incident...........:D

Think their might have been a thread on this Dorking. was 66 or 67. Those involved are probably now causing all sorts of bovver down the pension office. As Baldy pointed out their is a main suspect, and even today I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his overswing club.
