Morning all
Am after some advice
Have BT Broadband at home through a PC.
Want to get wireless broadband so I can get my Apple Mac Upstairs online as well
My Mac has a Airport and Modem, so that means it's ready to go, is that correct?
I am thinking of buying this wireless router

Do I need to buy anything else to make it work?
Will I need a disc from BT to install the Broadband software on my Apple as well? |

Do you have a router already?
You don't install anything on the mac.
You need an adsl router - i.e wireless + modem - I suggest summat like this

there is a router on the PC, I think - plugs in the broadband to the computer, and all that
So will the cheaper one not work?
What is ADSL?
Sorry, I am a beginner :) |

Get the router Dave said. You won't need anything else.
The mac can connect wirelessly and the PC can connect through cable. The router connects to your phoneline rather than using your current modem. |
