I think I'll retire from this Palace Rubbish row now.
But I didn't think Wicks was actually that rubbish as a footballer......he joined Palace when I suspect he didn't want to, and well whatever......

| Best Palace player ever that I've witnessed Don Rogers. The most exciting to watch, how he floated the ball sometimes was amazing. Proper footballs that is, not the balloons of today! |

between aj, doug and lombardo...
ill go with doug, just on the amount of time spent at the club, the important goals that he has scored and the amount of goals he scored. legend |

The looks he used to give some of our players for not being in the right place for a disguised pass were classic.he didnt seem to realise that most of them shouldnt have been on the same field.:D |

Don Rogers.
Magic debut goal dribbling from half way line to score our winner against Everton , gave us belief in a struggling Palace side and almost kept us in the top flight single handed. Really exciting player to watch and scored regularly until injuries kicked in. Shame he did not come to us earlier in his career but media still expected him to break into England squad under Don Revie. Alas it was not to be.See him score 2 of our top ten voted greatest goals.
Ian Wright , John Jackson and Nigel Martyn come right up there too. |

I'm certain the DI could put him right on the lyrics to a song sang to Wright. |

| Peter Taylor but closely followed by Bobby Woodruff, Geoff Thomas, Lombardo, AJ and Dougie Freedman (not necessarily in that order). |

Sung with gusto at Highbury the first time we played there after he left us.
I don't think he liked it judging from his reaction. |
