Simple as that really. I am making a music video for a soul band in Final Cut Pro but I want a video clip of some kind of sound/audio wave to use as filler. Obviously if I can get the sound wave to link to the audio that is playing in the video then that would be ideal.

Does anyone know of any software I can use that will create an AVI / MPEG for this??? Then I could import the video into my existing Music Video.

I guess the alternative is to film a computer screen on my camera and import the video that way???

maybe you could use a screen capture programme like fraps

You need an oscillator if you want to create sound waves of your music. Might be able to pick one up second hand not too expensively, and then just use a video camera to capture the display. I imagine you might be able to get software to do it.

If not, you just need to google for some video clip.
