I would classify him more as a solid rather than "exciting" player (like Gray) which is probably more in keeping with our style and an ideal rplacement for Townsend. Would i like him at the Palace? yes, but it would need to be initially a loan until seasons end with an agreement to buy in the summer and at a sensible fee of say 15m.

The more I think about it the better this appears. Someone who wants to play central, young, mobile, can pass and can easily play right midfield and at a push cover right back if really needed.
Loan would be great, maybe with option to buy, which unfortunately would come at a price as several have mentioned above. |
