I am thinking of dumping my iPhone for a Blackberry or a WinMo device.

yep, 600+500 + 16 gig TCO @ 18 = £772

I got a 2 gig card with the HTC, binned it for an 8 gig micro SDHC

Nothing to smile at. I like the iPhone a lot as a consumer device but for me it's not hitting the mark as a business device. I still have frequent issues with exchange interaction and I have to poll for mail every 30 mins. If I turn on the push email the battery doesn't last untill lunchtime.

I guess when you only have audio and no video then 8Gb might work, for some people

Chaps...I'm looking to get an iPhone ASAP, especially as my piece of crap Sony Ericsson K850i (of which I'm on my third) has given up the ghost. Again.

However, I've still got 3 months left on my contract (with O2). My current phone's f*cked, as stated. Is there any chance I can get an iPhone by going into the O2 shop in town tomorrow?!

Anyone got any tips on how I should approach them?
