Just been given a 2G iphone and am off to O2 shop for a Sim tomorrow. I have connected up to the internet via wireless, but Flash does not seem to work on websites under safari. Works on my Mac Safari, so do I have to downlaod anything?

stick the sim in jesus phone - copy all contacts over - delete all contacts on sim - move contacts from phone memory on non jesus phone to sim - rinse and repeat

Not with WunderRadio - it's a problem with Internet radio. Because it is streamed round the World, certain broadcasts cannot be transmitted that way.

You can get Palace Radio if that's any use - I was listening to it this afternoon (with only a basic, Edge, connection). You need to type in the URL, but it works perfectly.

The solution is to use Orb - and stream digital Radio via your home PC. I do this and can get all the Satellite Radio stations on the Road (as well as Sky Sports News and all the other digital terrestrial TV channels). Obviously you need a digital TV tuner on your PC, but these are as cheap as chips these days).

I'm struggling with converting iTunes files to ringtones, even after consulting the sages on this thread. When I go to Windows Movie Maker to clip the relevant 30 seconds from a track, it does not recognise the song files (.m4r) as audio files. I can attach them to a clip, but not play them. Any ideas?

can't you just use itunes to convert and create the files rather than use windows movie?

All you have to do is find a 30 second segment of the song you like and clip the song using itunes, then copy the file, convert to the relevant file type and move it to ringtones.

Okay, I'm still struggling. How do I clip a song using iTunes? Where's the option to clip it?

The only reference to ringtones I can find is by right-clicking on a song and press "convert to ringtones" but that doesn't work because it says I can only create ringtones from songs purchased from the iTunes store. 99.9% of my songs have been copied from CD and I'm sure someone on here has mentioned how to get around this.....

When it alerts you there is a new message it shows the world your message. Can i just change it to a name ?

I find the feature useful - but I can see how it might be a bit awkward if your mistress sends you a saucy message while your locked phone is on the kitchen table as your wife is cooking the tea ...

They will stop over time, usually about a week. The mailserver will keep trying to deliver for a period of time (usually referenced in the email).

You could write to google and see if they can help earlier.

This will only update your touch when you are connected to the wifi but I think it's preferable to syncing downloaded mail via itunes

I wanted to send a picture to my wife's bluetooth phone today - and couldn't find a way to do it. A quick Google search suggests that it is not possible. Can this be correct? Even the most basic mobile allows you to transfer images. This is the first time I have been disappointed with the iPhone.

I just tried James and cant even get the iphone to Btooth with my Vista Laptop. The laptop can see the phone but the phone just says searching. Odd

so no bluetooth or MMS. seems pointless to leave them off.

I miss being able to forward messages. Hope they sort it out on a near future firmware update.
