The Covers Thread
Ok. A thread to post covers of songs. Rules are that they have to be significantly different or unique or even oddball to the originals. To start off here's the Cranberries doing Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac, this is linked with computer game footage but its the only version of the original I can find (there's a live version but it just doesn't do the build up to the guitar solo justice).

I think this is pretty unique, despite Fleetwood Mac being power pop, their lyrics were full of bitterness and broken relationships and Dolores unique voice really makes this stand out and make it the angry song it is supposed to be.

Cake doing Gloria Gaynor's I will survive in a slowed down grunge like fashion. Strangely hypnotising.

Worst band ever...

Note: I was recently hypnotized and have had all songs by Nickleback removed from my memory bank. Happy Days! :p

I've been told they do an absolutely abysmal cover of "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)"
