Weaving however is another argument altogether but there is nothing worse than a slow driver plodding along in an overtaking lane.

Do you actually mean a slow driver, as in someone doing 40 in a 70, or do you mean someone not breaking the speed limit like everyone else?

The 'things that annoy you thread' turning into a big argument about what are and aren't acceptable driving standards on UK motorways :D

Is it not all the bad, indisciplined, lane changing that slows up motorway traffic and causes the jams?

Nope. Its idiots who don't know to move left when they can, and think just because they are doing the same speed as the guy in front of them then nobody could possibly want to pass.

That and rain.

Look, speed limit or not is irrelevant. If you can move over to the left you should. End of.

I mean somebody who is in the outside lane but not overtaking people on the inside lane irrespective of speed.

It's strange and just odd that undertaking is not allowed on UK motorways. If US drivers can do it safely I see no reason why British drivers cant.
Turning right on a red light (would be left in the UK) is another US thing that the UK would benefit from.

:D

Pedestrians who walk too slowly.

Why can't they simply move over to the left? It is particularly inconsiderate to the skateboarders, roller-skaters and pushbikers who need to travel faster.

Maz 23-10-2015 05:03 PM

People who call other BBS members trolls because they lack the wherewithal to construct their debate properly.

After living in the US for 30+ years and doing this, I find in insane trying to drive on a motorway in The UK. It does my head in.

What do you so in slow moving traffic (light traffic jam)?

I bet you wouldn't do that in south side LA.

You pass on the left. There's allowance for that.

I came to this thread because something really really annoyed me yesterday and now I can't remember what it was.
