Joost doesn't seem to like 'Tricker 3G' either; phone crashes and goes into safe mode everytime I try and watch something over 3G.

Can anyone tell me how to change the text alert tone to one of my choosing? I have worked out how to do this with ringtones (I used Garageband to clip the track and shared it back to itunes to sync to my phone). When I go to sound settings on my phone it shows these imported files under ringtones but when I go into text it only shows the default ones.

I may be wrong but I think you'll need to jailbreak. I've seen some alternative text message tones on Cydia I think.

Just taken delivery of
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=180369448074

Had a 2 voucher for ebay, so paid something silly like 1 for it.
Just as good as the official Apple one, and for what it does, why spend more?

my 3g doesn't sit in the dock nicely

The proper 3g Dock or the Universal one?
Happy enough with this one, for 1 can't really complain. Postage must have cost that much

Anyone got the Jaybird headphones?

They actually look like a subtle pair of Bluetooth headphones.

Google's exchange server?

Ridcully 30-06-2009 02:08 PM

http://www.google.com/mobile/apple/sync.html

Works great for calendars and contacts, surely only a matter of time before email added

I know I have just suggested google syn on another thread for heb but in my experience it sucks. Duplicate hell and misses some entries for no reason.

Caldav rocks.

didn't overheat but came close to it a couple of days after getting it and charging the phone but has been fine since then (touch wood) and the battery seems to go down quicker then the old model

My home button on the 3G is very tempramental, sometimes it doesnt work at all.....only 6 months old so still covered by the warranty...would it be worth taking it into the apple shop for them to have a look at?
