Anyone know if iOS4 update has changed the Notes application? I have noticed that since I updated to the newer OS, whenever I create a new note it automatically gets emailed to me, this didn't happen before the update. How do I turn this 'feature' off? There doesn't appear to be anything in the settings menu pertaining to notes. I would rather not have my shopping lists etc emailed to me.

Agreed, not worth it on 3G

Updated my iPhone yesterday with the iOS 4.0.1 Software Update and it does seem to improved the speed of the phone loading and accessing with the iOS 4.0 Software created.

I updated mine a few days ago on a 3GS and the battery life is now wank! It has been fine before. Battery does not even last a day with 3G off and Bluetooth off.

My iphone has been running really really slowly since i updated the software.
Should i worry ??

Have you got a 3G Stavros? Apple have now admitted that the iOS4 does have performance issues on the 3G but have yet to release a resolution. My 3G is seriously slower than it was with the 3rd OS. :(

There's a suggestion that if you turn the Spotlight search off on the 3G, this will speed the phone up if u have upgraded the firmware. I have done it and found that the phone is working a bit better now.

Guy at work had the same problem with his 3G, did a hard reboot and now it's absolutely fine speedwise

Yeah, i plugged it in and synced last night and it's working better.
It pisses me off so much that they release a piece of software without knowing how it will affect the phones.

I have the 4.0 I upgraded from the 3G but They still haven't changed my sims over I can't text on this phone,ring still using the other phone I put the new sim in 2 days ago should I ring o2 and say oi what's going on

I have a 3G and when I updated to the 4.0 operating system it seemed to cause a problem with the music on my phone. Around 75% of my music library wouldn't play. I tried a few things that I googled like converting all the mp3 files to aac and updating id3 (?) tags but nothing worked.

I then tried the last piece of advice, backed up my phone in iTunes then restored the phone to it's factor settings. This seems to have fixed everything, the phone is running so much more smoothly and all my music plays properly!
