Remote is just about the only one I repeatedly use, the others are just bookmarked buttons.

Its all about Drop 7, a simple but fiendishly addictive puzzle game.

Weirdly I was thinking just the opposite last night on my way to the 02

RDSdaEAGLE 27-02-2009 08:22 PM

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but is Skype (or an alternative app that can run Skype) available for the iphone?

And it all works? I'd be able to make calls to the UK or other Skye contacts with it?

You would be much better of getting a Windows 6.X smart phone rather than an iPhone for use with Skype!

Just my 2cents.

Well, I won't need it that often but I'd like it for convenience.

Russ_uk 27-02-2009 09:19 PM

Tis all good then RDSaEAGLE :)

Kevin T 28-02-2009 04:06 PM

I use Fring for IM but have never tried it for calling anyone.

RDSdaEAGLE 28-02-2009 04:07 PM

Having read some reviews, I gather that you can't call people on Fring without a wifi connection.

Do you love your iPhone but hate iTunes? Now there is an alternative, that works brilliantly with Vista.

You will need to download the latest version of winamp (free version) and get the 3.08 (or higher) ml_ipod plugin.

Then it's just a question of dragging and dropping mp3 files (or whatever) onto your IPhone 3g. You can create and edit playlists; change the order of tracks; add or delete tracks; copy files from your iPhone to your PC etc etc. When you are done, simply click on 'Eject' to sync with your iPhone and you are done!

Yep. I've only called via wifi but I think James uses it quite a bit and can confirm if it works over 3G.

GodstoneEagle 02-03-2009 12:24 AM

3g battery life is gash

I can't believe that nobody else has commented on this - it's so much easier using Winamp to load mp3 files onto my iPhone - drag and drop is something that's not a simple matter using iTunes.

Has anyone else used it?

Dave 02-03-2009 10:03 PM

I stopped copying music to my iphone a long time ago

Kevin T 03-03-2009 07:54 AM

I don't have any issues with iTunes. Download album, click add folder. Get album art. What's so hard?
