It's not available yet Stav, will be BETA tested in the next few months and released during the summer I gather.

Cheers mate i did see that but it says it's only free on the 8gb and thats for the 45 quid a month tariff.

Just want to know where Dave saw the free handset for 35 quid a month, and whether it was the 8gb or the 16gb.

aha, will be upgrade time soon. Free is good.

brighton_eagle 18-03-2009 10:02 AM

So let me get this right. 3rd gen version and at last you get MMS and can forward sms?!

FFS more like. Apple are taking the piss with these staged releases. As usual.

Dave 18-03-2009 11:01 AM

*sigh*

brighton_eagle 18-03-2009 11:04 AM

If you don't mind having the piss taken out of you, fair enough.

Dave 18-03-2009 11:05 AM

Seriously, why bother posting.

It's like engaging with a child.

brighton_eagle 18-03-2009 11:45 AM

It is, and I shan't bother any more. I make points and you respond with a sigh or a flounce.

eagles #1 18-03-2009 05:47 PM

Thanks.

That article also mentions the long rumoured iphone nano, if such a thing is ever released can I have first claim on the phrase "sweet baby Jesus phone".

Ah rats.

Dropped the Jesus phone yesterday and now the power button is stuck down. When its not connected to my PC it keeps switching itself off and back on again (only ever gets to the Apple logo).

Popped into a repair shop (not O2 or Apple), they recommend sending it away for a week.

Anyone else had this problem? Any ideas other than sending it away to be repaired?

Its 54 weeks old by the way, so out of warranty I believe.
