With a new model almost certainly out in a month or so I imagine it is worth hanging on, there may be deals on the current model in the near future.

Dave, any thoughts on the new HTC Magic? Seems quite good, apart from the headphone socket (again), but have never plugged my headphones in a phone. It seems it might be a better fit for me than the iphone, I just want good interweb.

There is a new version of android out this week to enable the magic to work and it looks sweet.

Specifically it has cut and paste (even on web browser) and a2dp (stereo bluetooth).

What would worry me would be that web browsing is still not going to be as good as Safari on jesus phone, battery life is potentially worse than Iphone and nobody is liking their software keyboard.
