Annoying me much

Yes, i have that problem too. I now have a separate icon shortcut via mobile web next to the app and when this happens just use that link to see notification correctly. The mobile web version i find is a lot better anyhow.

Good tip - thanks. Wonder if they will fix the app. It happens on the iPad too - much annoying.

WhatsApp messenger, currently saving me a fortune while my other half is in Australia. Once you've paid your 59p you can effectively text any other iPhone for free, works exactly like texting in that you get a text like message pop up on your phone and after that it takes you to the conversation with previous messages.

If only I had known about it a little sooner I would have saved about £80 on January's bill :sob:

Have you tried Viber? Its a free app and you can call IPhone to Iphone anywhere in the world for free as long as both IPhones have downloaded the app. This only works over Wi Fi so as long as you both have a Wi Fi connection it means free calls!

What's the best satnav to download to the iPhone?

Or is there a way of using the maps?

Using an iPhone 4.

I have just discovered Dragon - and have been VERY impressed, especially as it's a free application. It seems to work very well indeed.

Best SatNav app? Anyone?

I use TomTom Western Europe, which is excellent. It doesn't rely upon a WiFi or 3g connection (it has it's own maps - so it's a very big download) and it's not the most expensive. However, at £53 it isn't cheap. Slightly cheaper is the TomTom UK and Ireland - but that's still £50, which is why I went for the Western Europe version.

Doesn't it need 3G to track where you are?

How big is the download size?

I've got about 2.5MB free?

Does Western Europe have updates?

How good is the quality of the Western Europe one in terms of the UK?
