What does everyone use for their football updates? I use 'live scores' and its quick and good but it doesn't show team line ups etc.

iFooty is pretty good.

Is there an app that allows you to monitor data usage of other apps? I want to see what apps are draining my data.

I tried Onavo (I think it was called), but the app itself was using plenty of data itself. Almost 1mb in a day.

Back with an iPhone after an unhappy Android dalliance (5S is a thing of beauty). App suggestions welcomed.

I quite like 'football app' - gives live scores, tables, and you can save favourites. Also gives minute by minute commentary and team sheets.

Eurosport app is a great app for footy (and other sports) as was getting hacked off with Sky and bbc one being slow and crashing

Anyone download and used the Three InTouch App yet?

Workable and useful?

Can anyone recommend an app that creates a slideshow from your camera roll, you can add music (from your music file) to the slideshow and also record it to post on Facebook?

TIA

As a self confessed statto, I would love an app that lists all Palace’s results in their history plus league tables from each season. Why hasn’t one been invented?! Some lazy feckers out there.

Yes, on that daily. Just a brilliant resource. Of course I’ve got Ian King’s superb complete records book but a bit too big to walk around with. :)

I live on the flight path into a pretty busy executive jet airport, and also a small International airport used by Southwest, Delta AA etc..

I was always sort of curious where they were coming from, and I recently downloaded the FlightAware App... marvelous fayre.

I'm getting great pleasure in sitting outside, and following the plane on the app which shows where it came from, what sort of plane it is and who it belongs to. No one famous yet owning the plane... most are owned by leasing companies, but pretty sure they might have famous passengers on board occasionally.

The commercial planes are not as interesting as I can usually see what airline they are without the app, and the only interest is where they are coming from.

Bob Hope? (BUR)

I been there many times in my old job. I am sure John Travlotta files into there so you may find one of these days his plane. Mind you he may have registered it under a umbrella company and not come up.

Interesting app I just downloaded it. Thanks

Correct. And the Exec airport in Van Nuys.

You are right about the plane ownership... pretty sure very few people actually own a jet and lease from a broker.

Sunday evenings are crazy. The exec planes come in one after another. I have to assume it is the rich and famous returning to LA after "going home" for the weekend.

That is one of my favourite airports. It was easy to get to and all.

Getting back 'Recharged' :)

I hated carrying their bags, not one of the perks of that job, I can tell you now. lol

Which one? Burbank or Van Nuys.

Used to always try and get flights out of Burbank when traveling for work. So much easier on so many levels than LAX.
