That god awful woman commentator on BBC Radio London last night. Political correctness gone mad. Who in their right mind gave her that job ?

For Paranoias 29-10-2015 08:20 PM

Was it Shouty?

Yoda 29-10-2015 08:57 PM

We watched a stream with Arabic commentary...it was preferable to Shouty.

This, 100%. Shops and offices are the same.

Women looking at each other quizzically "Do you feel cold?! Isn't it cold in here!?"

Christmas shops. Full of tat. Like some homing beacon to the living dead.

While wearing open toes shoes... and having a heater on under their desks.

People who stand in the street shouting on their mobile phones.
Going into a restaurant that is 3/4 empty and being told sorry we are fully booked.

Add to that those who come in and ask if the specials are still on and when being told no walk out. No class.

Ghosteagle 30-10-2015 04:31 PM

The lack of effort in england for halloween.

WLYWLYAWYPWF 30-10-2015 04:44 PM

Fare zone 6 being stuck at the end of every sign on Purley Station platforms so that every dick (myself included first time around)think they are on platform 6. Whoever decided to do that deserves to be slapped hard around the face. Repeatedly.

England acknowledging Halloween - it's fcuking American, invented because they were jealous that they didn't have Guy Fawkes night.

Dobbo 30-10-2015 04:50 PM

People putting up signs but not taking them down when the event is finished, esp East Sussex council who still have signs up telling us that a road will be closed for roadworks last May !!

If you are going to watch it then do it from the angle of enjoying the sight of people turning up with something they think will be valued for a lot of money but are then told it's worth sweet FA and their look of disbelief. It gives the program new depth

"No worries", ever since I read this a few pages back I've realised how much I do this at work. So now i'm annoying myself which is even more irritating as usually I think i'm great.

Time difference between here and Australia.
