Seeing as they compliment each other perfectly I can't see the problem.

Oh God yes - this!

I think it's aimed at suburban hipsters, and middle-class beardies that used to be in crap bands but now use terms like 'load-bearing walls' in their day-to-day conversations.

All horrible.

Stupid questions! Just ordered a takeaway curry and a pint of Cobra. Are you going to wait here or come back to collect your order. I've just ordered a fecking pint to neck whilst I'm waiting so what do you think? If I didn't think they'd spit in the food (they probably do anyway) I would have said yeah the pint was for you I'll be back in half an hour.

I'd much rather have a backdrop of live sport to compliment my indoor drinking than Children in Need. Although even that becomes bearable after two bottles of wine and eight bottles of Peroni. :p

I've just donated £25 to make up for being such a killjoy. (I've not been well, you know.)

Wogan's not doing it this year, if that helps.

I'm sat in a curry house and all I can think of now is Wogan Josh.

I'm being forced to watch it, I want to stick pins in my eyes.

Could be worse Civil. You could be watching the England game.

So bored by England at the moment that I forgot they're playing.

Will watch them v France next week, but only if Cabaye plays.

I made the mistake of watching the England game, then joining the rest of the family in the living room with Children in Need. Safe to say I've had more entertaining evenings (though I did manage to catch up with 2 days of Twitter while "watching" the game

People still donate and watch Children in Need when it is quite obviously a con.

Takeaway places that stick a cold drink can in the bag with the rest of the hot food you've ordered.
