Probably do the same at home.

Forgetting that the Euro 2016 ticket portal was opening at 1400 and as a result entering a huge online queue at 1435.

Mine is related - getting into the portal and having to do approx 600 captchas as tickets kept becoming unavailable whilst I clicked them. I did manage to get a ticket for Wales v N.Ireland though, so won't grumble too much.

Well done for getting one though. What details did you need and how many could you buy?

Thanks!

You could buy 4, but actually getting 4 into your cart would have proved impossible I think (unless you had a bot to purchase or you got very lucky early on).

I was still registered from the initial ballot, but you needed to provide your passport/photo ID number (you need to show this when you pick up the tickets).

A friend got back recently and said it was easy to buy tickets outside metro/train stations for games, but I suppose it'll depend on the fixture/capacity.

Brilliant cheers, will dig out the passport. Are you driving there on your own? Still in the queue but about a third through now.

I'm flying over with a couple of mates...staying in Paris on the Sat night. We couldn't get 3 tickets together, but managed to get a single and 2 together. If you fancy a beer or two in the fan park over the weekend, shoot me a PM! Good luck with the ticket search.

Cheers, will do if we get them. Would you think i'd need passport details for every ticket i manage to buy or just me?

It'll just be for the buyer...you have to show when you collect them. You won't need details for the other tickets.

Nice one, perfect, i don't suppose Italy v Spain was available or were you just targetting Wales v N Ireland and focussing on that one?

I think you may be out of luck unfortunately. Site is showing none are now available. Italy v Spain was up there earlier, I didn't notice availability though.

Depending on stadium size, I reckon you could get a ticket from a tout over there for not a massive amount more...but it's obviously a gamble. If you do go that route, let me know and I can send you over some photos of tickets to help weed out any fake ones.

It would have been good to get that one but c'est la vie :) nearly at the front now.

Bollocks. Nothing available now.

The wife giving me gyp/gip/jip (how do you spell that?) for not wanting to shell out over $700 for 2 nose bleeder tickets at the Copa America final. I mean, it's not like it's Palace is it?
Strangely enough that argument was a massive FAIL.

That's unusual - historically it is the other way around... wives giving husbands gyp/gip/jip for wanting to spend $700 for a football match!

Having said that my wife was very supportive in my Cup Final adventure/expenditure.

People who wait until your car is almost upon them before resorting to Lewis Hamilton-esque maneouvres to get in front of you, and then pootling along like a tortoise on Valium. They truly are *****.

Me and Chocky having at least 250 more things that annoy us than the 3rd place contributor.

Also got annoyed at your love in with PalaceForever shafting this thread and worst still him asking you to 'shoot me a PM'.

Farcical terminology.

That ticket site properly pissed me off today. Waited for 2 hours, only to finally see 'no tickets available'.
