Same, when is iOS 4.0 released, or do we just know some time soon?

Scrumpy 20-06-2010 02:15 PM

OS 4.0 is released 26th June apparently

KingsleY 20-06-2010 04:47 PM

I thought iOS 4 was released 21st

CPFC Cheerleader Observer 20-06-2010 07:50 PM

I thought that the iPhone 4 release date was June 24, while iOS 4 release date is June 21.

Tomorrow? Great news. Having used it myself I think it a nice change, and the multi-tasking is great, not sure about the backgrounds though.

CPFC Cheerleader Observer 20-06-2010 08:01 PM

Dont quote me on that, just what i recalled. Guess we'll find out at some point this week!

BulletEagle 20-06-2010 08:03 PM

Well it seems KingsleY agrees...

CPFC Cheerleader Observer 20-06-2010 08:04 PM

Since i dont want to jailbreak my phone, im looking forward to putting my apps into folders.

Dave 20-06-2010 08:05 PM

yeah - will be great to add a few more seconds to the launching an app time

Same, and when mine was jailbroken it really didn't work, they would be in a file but it took a while to open the file since it was effectively an app inside an app.

Well, id rather have a folder than have to flick through 9 pages to find an app!

I know, it will still take longer, but the one I used didn't seem to take too long compared to the jailbroken one I had. Will the time increase depending on the amount of apps inside? The one I used only had about 3, but if you had 10 it may take longer?

BulletEagle 21-06-2010 06:35 PM

It's syncing now... :lux:

BulletEagle 21-06-2010 06:59 PM

Done, just doing folders now.

Scrumpy 21-06-2010 07:21 PM

Looks I was wrong. iOS 4.0 is out now

Brett 21-06-2010 07:26 PM

It's deleted all my ******* e-mails and no amount of syncing and restoring has got them back. :veryangry
