I'm on my third 3G! :D. Mrs Blind had the last 3GS as I decided to wait for the 4.

Did ours last night. Biggest issue was updating iTunes. Suspect everyone was, then did two phones in the space of half an hour.

Don't like the backgrounds, but sure I will get used to them. Surprised that the folders can only have a limited number of apps.

Mine's backing up now. The anticipation mounts!

Mines been working a treat since the upgrade. Stuck all my apps in folders last night which was less hassle than expected.

why? mine took about 20 mins max

mine took about 30 mins from starting the download to the upgrade being completed.

Do you create the folders on the iphone or in Itunes? I updated last night but only got to play with the phone after i left for work this morning and can't work out how to create folders from the iphone

Just move one app onto another and it will create a folder for both apps.

Oh dear. My update ended up with me losing ALL data on my phone which my restore didnt copy :(

So ive lost all data for all my apps and having to restore the apps from fresh from the backup but they have no data!

Is itouch upgrade download ready and how do I do it? Thnx

I upgraded no probs last night! Only thing ive found today is my battery life seems to be noticeably shorter!

Does anyone know the best way to play your iphone itunes over a car stereo? I have standard CD player in my car, but really don't want to go wireless radio transmitter route unless I have to as I have not been that impressed with the one I got for our ipod a couple of years ago :(

Buy a car that comes iPod ready. Sure it'll set you back the cost of a new car and the option but hey, at least you won't have to worry about transmitting the FM signal ;)

Basically works as if your iPOD is a CD Changer. Steering wheel controls work (Volume / skip tracks), charges iPOD. Works with my iphone and ipod classic.

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Cheap = FM transmitter, c rap sound quality
Expensive = Dension, good sound quality
