I've received my Puncheon Team Leader card already, and I have to say these are very disappointing cards - more what you'd expect from Stadium Club. They are as thin as Match Attax, and nothing special about them at all really.

Can't believe there are so few cards to collect too.

I think back to previous years Premier Gold, and I've got a quad auto book card, dual memorabilia, autos, quad relic, die cut autos, framed card and so on. There were some really unusual and special cards. Now not one single relic card for Palace!

If you want amazing quality cards, have a look at Immaculate - these are top quality autos, patches and even boot memorabilia, and they are really thick! Only thing is its only Benteke and Hennessey to go for!

I seem to have got napping when these cards got issued , i thought these wasn't due out for a few more days,
Managed to get a fair amount completed already inc some parallel cards,
agreed, not many palace issued this time, which makes it very cheap for me this time round,
Confused here....is this the same set of cards that normally get issued in the USA first ?, and we get the Topps stadium club premier league cards issued here ?

Yes, Premier Gold is usually an outstanding collection including loads of subsets, autos and relics. Not this time, just a few autos, none of which are Palace

They are usually issued in USA, but all the dealers in the Far East get them first, and it usually costs a fortune in postage.

This time around, very easy - UK sellers got hold of them 10 days before the release date, and selling them at very decent BIN prices with free postage - very happy from that perspective



At least it's a World Cup year, so there might be lots of different Luka cards and stickers, some Benteke, and maybe even some for Jach ? And Match Attax Extra in March

EDIT - just had a look on FCF to see what is up, and basically this seasons Premier Gold is what you'd expect from Premier Club, and there will be Premier Platinum at the start of April (bit late) which will be a lot more like Premier Gold of old, with the relics and autos etc

Finally got round to watching this yesterday. Brilliant. Palace fan was part of the breakaway company

Just seen the checklist for the new Panini Prism World Cup cards - not a single Palace player (not even Chungy!). Even the Adrenalyn World Cup cards have Luka!

Did manage to get hold of a Luka sticker from the Tschutti Heftli 2018 World Cup collection, which is a bit of an 'alternative' sticker collection as different artists do each of the 32 teams!

Panini have issued a 92 sticker 'update' set for their 2018 World Cup sticker colection, to round up previously omitted squad players. The version issued in Switzerland has gold borders.

The reason I mention this is that a sticker for Ruben Loftus-Cheek is included in this update set. Pleasingly the sticker lists his club as Crystal Palace :)

My Zaha Match Attax on demand card finally arrived on Friday. Very nice card.

Seems there are only 3 Topps Now cards per round of PL games, which makes it hard for CP players to feature (although Wilf a possible contender today)

If you still collect Soccerstarz figures, keep an eye out for the new Roy figure, due out Oct (but could be as late as Dec)

Disappointed with Topps this season with the pricing of their Now cards, Yes now cheaper if you only want one card, But like me, i use to buy the five card packet at approx £23,

I think five rare/time limited match attax for 3 quid including postage is very fair

I'd be happy if they just did those and ditched the 'now' cards to be honest

'Now' is annoying as you have to remember to check during the 24hr window!

NO Match attax Pro11 cards this season , saves me many hours each week winning them

If you were patient, they were about 3 quid on ebay a couple of months later

Over the weeks, i was winning each card to make full sets, and winning a few extra palace ones for my own collection,
When the Topps football pro11 starts off, you need to win over 25-30 matches to get into the top 1000 to win the card you are after, Once the mad rush is over were people are after their favorite cards which normally mid January, you only needed to win approx 5-10 matches to get into the top 1000

Could never be bothered doing it TBH.

Having looked at the recently issued Match Attax cards 2018/19, it looks like Scott Dann's head has been superimposed onto another players body as to my knowledge he has not played in a Palace shirt this season.

Also the Max Meyer's cards also look like they have received the same treatment

I'd definitely agree re Scott Dann, you can see the join at the neck where the skin tone changes colour!

The Jordan Ayew away kit isn't the greatest image - big part of that particular card is to show off the away kit, however he's wearing a very prominent white vest under the shirt, and gloves! (when did any Palace player wear gloves pre season??)

Panini UK has signed an exclusive worldwide agreement to become the Official Stickers and Trading Cards Licensee of the Premier League from Season 2019/20.

That's good news. I've been picking up Panini National Treasures and Imaculate cards and they are top quality.

I'm sure Panini will issue cards very similar to Match Attax anyway

Lets hope Topps Chrome deliver some nice jerseys and autos.

Just had a look at this weeks moments cards. 4 out of 5 were 'big 6' club players. What a load of toss.

Match Attax do similar with the LE's. Even the season after Leicester won the Premier League there wasn't a Leicester LE

I should hope Panini do cards next season, as they now have the licence for the Premiership, they will want to get back as much money as possible, Thats probably why Topps have just gone after the money this season knowing its their last,
Regarding the Topps Chrome, doubt there will be many Palace cards

I brought them in the first couple days out, many dealers had some nice offers with their cards like buy 3 get 3 free, Slight problem, lost track on how many i was buying and now have ten fold of each lol

The 'parallel' versions of the cards are on for crazy money on ebay. For example a /100 card of Zaha is on for £20. This is not an auto or a relic,just a shiny green version of a normal looking card!

Much better value on ebay in some of the US issued Panini/Futera cards from the lst couple of years which are a lower limited run yet with autos or jersey relics on them

Have got myself the Ayew auto card & Zaha pl elite & luka captain cards, will post pictures when they arrive

As these card packets are expensive to buy, cant see many parallel cards #50,#25,#10 hitting the public, so when they do dribble through, the prices will be high,


Last seasons Topps 2018 premier league platinum cards, The parallel cards are very rare to get hold off, I myself only managed to get a couple , so so many missing

Yep, this collection is overpriced compared to the decent content you get in Premier Gold and other premium collections. We had it a few years ago with Premier Club - the auto cards for Bolasie, Puncheon and Campbell were /100 to /125 but were as rare as rocking horse poo as so few packs made it to the reseller/ebay market

It's week 13, and there has just been the solitary Zaha card from when we lost to Watford(!)
