I'm now complete with the 1908 series - after years of patient collecting the last five have been rounded up within a month! :lux: :D :p

(And now have a fair few swops into the bargain)

Now the fun bit, getting them framed (3 rows of 5 works best) so you can enjoy them properly as a complete set

Hope I've not annoyed anyone but just got a rare 1913/14 Taddy today - Harry Hanger. Paid above 'catalogue price' at £46 but got a Chelsea card with it, which if I get a few quid for will mean the Palace card is a good aquisition.

Have to say, the great thing about collecting Place cards is that you can give it up for a bit, then come back to it. It doesn't take up too much space, and you can spend as little time on it as you want to.

Hope Panini do a Championship cards series again this season, but I do wonder if the last series was unprofitable - it came out so late, I can't believe they sold enough.

Slightly irrelevant but my mate from Prague has just given me a framed picture from 1908 - showing match action from Slavia Prague 4 Crystal Palace 5! Any idea who might have been in the line-up? :p
