They are the 2013-2014 Premier League stickers.

Some 2013/14 Topps Premier League stickers featured unique codes on the back. If you then went online and played their online game (and finished high up on the weekly leaderboard) you would be entitled to one Limited edition 'Gold' player card and sticker.

In Vietnam, the Premier League is very popular. One brand of crisps, Poca Chips gave away Premier League Match attax cards in packs.

There were 60 cards in the series, 3 for each of the 20 clubs. The 3 Palace ones are below. NB The Jedinak one is a 'rainbow foil'

For the last few weeks I have been popping into my tescos local and resisting the temptation of the Panini sticker album. But tonight I was offered a free album and, like a crack addict, bought 8 packs. (Got the shinny number 0 ) I can't sleep even though I have to get up early, as I need to get my next fix. My 10 year old is not happy as I won't let him put them in because "you won't do them straight". He, however, will be my swappsie stooge at school, as I would be arrested for hanging round the playground after the bell has gone.

I did a tiny bit of research and it turns out they've been doing World Cup stickers for years. This is from the 2002 set.

Here is an unusual one.

In Switzerland, there is a World Cup sticker book called Tschutti-Heftli. It has been going for all major tournaments since 2008.

It is nothing like any other football stickers or cards I have seen before (okay maybe the strange artwork of Sun Soccercards, but apart from that....)

The special thing about these sets that is isn't just the footballer on a sticker, it is a piece of art created by a visual artist. The participating 40 artists from all over the world were chosen following a contest. They had to make their impression of Pele. A jury of 10, including Pele himself, choose the 40 artists. Every artist draws all stickers of one national team. So each team has a style of its own. Another special thing is that it is not a commercial issue. Of each pack sold 0,10 Swiss Franc will go to the Swiss Terres des Homme. The rest of the money is for production costs and for the magazine they issue.

The set consists of 490 stickers

In Switzerland, Tschuttibildli are collected mainly by adults (like me) and Panini mainly by children. Different audience, different product. Mass market vs. Connaisseurs, if you like.

Okay this is not aimed at my age group however this is the worse sticker book I have ever seen .
