Finally bought the Panini album and happily reliving my youth much to Mrs Bubbs amusement.

A few criticisms though; wish they would just stick to the two pages for each side instead of all these pointless add ons: ‘magic moments’, ‘star men’, ‘Prem elite’, ‘star signings’....

Would rather have the old classic style with a badge and team photo of Championship clubs as well.

Another complaint is the quality of the player photos. Is it me or is the lighting very dark? I’m not sure if I’m straying into unmentionable waters here, but you can’t literally see the black players faces in any of the photos. In this technological age, a very poor oversight.

Well, regarding the treble threads Hennessey card i won from ebay, looks like i wont be getting it , got a message from ebay today..

Have you bought any yet or are they all sold in USA with silly postage costs?

Have only seen a few Benteke cards listed in the USA, postage utter crazy price:grrr:

There's a new Euro 2020 'Adrenalyn' card collection out recently, which features Wayne Hennessey (card 295 I believe)

Post Brexit, and overseas purchases from ebay now seem to attract VAT from places they didn't before, and that is if they don't attract vague import charges from the US or general rip-off postage via ebay's Global Shipping 'Program'

It is frustrating to see cards sell to Americans for £1.99 knowing they aren'f faced with circa $17 of postage before they even get started!

I do find nevertheless that card prices do drop once the cards aren;t the latest thing, and I still fill the odd gap now and then from a few seasons ago when a card I want eventually gets listed at a sensible price.

The Impeccable collection took me ages to get one example of every Palace card - with the exception of the Zaha Gold Bar /3. It's still on ebay for 2 grand by the way if anyone wins the lottery. I particularly liked the silver bar cards (a lot more affordable than the gold ones!) although I wouldn't necessarily want it to become an annual thing!

Chronicles, I also got one of each Palace card, apart from the Benteke 1/1

The relatively new Immaculate cards are quite nice, but the postage is the main deterrent, so I've got someone in China on the lookout for me, and he sends stuff letter post which is much more economic.

Next week Prizm cards come out, and this year they have surpassed themselves - I counted 43 variants per base card, which is beyond stupid. I know it's the 'American' way, but I think UK collectors will just reject the whole concept and aim for one base set for their team and stuff the silly games.

At some point, probably late March, the Panini stickers update ones should come out.

And then in the Summer, collecting the Euros stickers and cards gets into full swing (even if it is likely just Wayne to collect from most collections)
