Today is 'Blue Monday' by all accounts. So I'm going to watch bongo all evening.

Adult men in parkas with furry hoods. Just look like a backwards big kid.

I was asked to fax a document to an insurance company today (the use of a fax in 2018 is another whole post). I do not have faxing capability at home, so took the 25 page document first to a FedEx store. They wanted $2.50 a sheet, or $62.50 all in. I politely declined and said I would look at Plan B. Next went to the UPS store and was quoted pretty much the same. On to Staples that wanted $2.99 a sheet!

I got home, and sent an e-mail to the insurance company with a .pdf attachment of the file in hope some nice person there sees the light, but I'm not holding my breath.

The most annoying thing is, I'm pretty sure a) they already had this document, and b) the update to their website seems to have reverted all my information back to old information.

It's a tough life.

A bit of a follow-up...

Now on my third round of e-mails with this company, and we seem to be in a bit of a "There's a hole in my bucket dear Liza" loop.

Latest e-mail tells me I have to fax the document (totally ignoring the $60.00 plea), or call them on the number on the back of the ID card... the same ID card we have lost and need to replace which is why I'm contacting them in the first place and trying to provide the said documents.

Part II of the annoyance... One there website you can provide a phone number that the next available representative will call you. Did this, and within 30 seconds the phone goes, only to go straight to hold which I gave up on after 15 minutes.

Customer Service at its finest!

The Grateful Dead album “ Workingman’s Dead”.
The apostrophe is in the wrong place and/or WorkingMan should be two words.

Packaged food with a tab designed to peel away the top membrane that either refuses to budge or snaps when you pull too hard and you end up using a knife. ( on the package, not the designer, unfortunately )

Buying a Hollister top off the internet that fits well and looks nice. Your 7 year old son the tells you that the logo looks like you support Brighton.

Sky reporting on the Sanchez move to Man City or Utd every 2 minutes! Boring...

The fact that a 7 year old tells you that would suggest he's right.

Is the channel changer or on off switch broken on your tv?

Eagles1977 16-01-2018 12:31 PM

So funny! Just hoping to hear if palace has signed anyone. You never know they might get a mention before the end of the transfer window

Then getting Ryan Giggs' opinion on it on the day he's appointed Wales manager. Surely there's more relevant things to ask.

Hertz charging a $35 admin fee for paying a $5 toll I would happily have paid myself, if they'd let me.
