Only iPhone 3GS and the latest iPod touch will get multitasking. The 3G and 2nd gen iPod touch will get some stuff. iPhone EDGE is left out.

Now this is great news...
Security is another major improvement for the enterprise aspects of iPhone OS 4, with new encryption options and support for forthcoming SSL VPN applications from Juniper and Cisco. Finally, support for multiple Exchange accounts and compatibility with Exchange Server 2010 offers more flexibility for corporate users. Hopefully they'll enabled some server side control of content too, this will make my life a hell of a lot easier. |
