It's not exactly a huge departure from what we have now, the multitasking is clunky and slow. Also, whilst it is only a developers release things like the new audio features are very buggy.

I'm going to make a video which is iPhone friendly. Does anyone know what the best file format? Ideally I would like people to be able to watch it on there ipod touch aswell.

I'm presuming it's 640x480 and .mp4 format?

You will probably get a better deal on the 3gs if you wait for the 4gs to come out, may take a while to actually be released though.

The original iphone was released in the summer of 2007, it was updated to the 3g in the summer of 2008, the 3gs came out in summer 2009. Can you see a pattern emerging here?

Look when wwdc is and that's when it will be announced. Anything upto a month after for availabilty...

So we are looking at a release date of July sometime then..the question is, do you guys think it's worth hanging on for the 4G or is the 3GS just as good??

If the leaked specs are accurate then it will be well worth the wait providing you like the look. Processor is much faster, it will have more memory, it will have a much better camera and screen which should be able to handle HD video. For the sake of a month until we know I personally would wait as it would also mean the 3GS should be a lot cheaper too.

It will have better battery life too, which is well worth waiting for
