It can seem to freeze when jailbreaking. If you just leave it it will sort itself out. I was shitting myself that I'd broken my phone first time too.

Tell us what's happened, what programme you are using, etc.

I have lost count how many bits of software I have tried to use to jailbreak it but it finally seemed to have worked but now I have no service.

I have the 5.09 bootloader and the new 3.1.3 OS and it would appear I am unable to jailbreak and unlock the phone.

I have restored the 3.1.3 OS and I have a service now but can't seem to get it jailbroken

what exactly is 'jailbreaking'? does it just make it usable on any network? if so, why not just buy one unlocked?

Im getting the arse ache with thhis poxy phone. I accidentally erased everything on my phone and now I cant create any bloody ringtones on Itunes as it's not letting me change the filename extension to a .m4r, they want you to pay for a ringtone creator which is an absolute piss take.

How good is this?

Only taken Apple 4 versions, but i think they're starting to release the smartphone we all want!

Gutted that the capacity hasnt been upped from 32Gb though, especially with the HD video recording & Editing feature.

the story of apple all over, great hardware, better software than those Redmond guys but sadly control obsessed.

Its been removed from the Contextual options when holding down the control key, but its still there under the 'Advanced' pull down menu

Can anyone recommend a good i Phone repairers? I hear the O2 service dept. is best avoided.
