Hope that helps :)

Battery life is poor, but a mate pointed out to me today, that this is probably due to the apps you open, seemingly staying open on the multi-task bar. If you then hold them, you get the red circle and white line to kill it off from the multi-task bar. I had about 15 in there earlier. Waiting to now see if killing them all off helps the battery life. If so, I still haven't found an option to not have to click the red circle to kill them, but just kill them when I'm done with them. I could be totally wrong here though, so apologies in advance.

Don't think there is one

Why would you turn off location services for maps?

Brett 24-06-2010 12:07 AM

Spellcheck and auto correction doing all sorts of weird shit since the upgrade. They've turned typing into a real chore.

Barbara4003 24-06-2010 12:10 AM

I don't think I'm going to upgrade mine.

I'm not entirely sure for me on a 3G that it's all been worth it just for the folders

Anbody having problems upgrading their 3G ? Mine sits for hours (and I mean hours) on Backing Up Ipod with the bar maybe on only a quarter after 3 hours (ish). Had to cancel upgrade then.

You should always wait a week or two after a new release of OS!

Apple may already have a fix for the iPhone 4's allegedly overly sensitive reception as soon as next week. The company's support discussions have reportedly had mention of an iOS 4.0.1 update arriving at the start of next week that would fix the phone's baseband calibration by having it switch faster to the cleanest available cellular signal. Visitors to AppleInsider have claimed, however, that Apple has not only pulled the originating discussion thread but all other related talk for the upgrade.

Finally managed to upgrade my 3G to OS4. Started 8:45 this morning, finished at 13:30. Now to see battery life plummet further.

Ridcully 28-06-2010 08:35 PM

It is killing the battery, rarely get through a day now without the charger :(

Mind you I am using the iphone to control xbmc a lot more so it could be that.

GodstoneEagle 28-06-2010 08:36 PM
