Ok, if anyone could HELP me quickly that would be great - going away tomorrow morning and want this done before I go.

How do I set up an e-mail account if my e-mail is xxxxxx@btinternet.com ? I have tried the OTHER option, but it says try without SSL or something, and so won't work.

EDIT : If so try this, Settings > Mail, Contacts,Calendars > Choose your mail accout > Advanced > turn off Use SSL

Look at previous email, I've added an EDIT :)

Done this, now when I go into the mailbox, which is just called Btinternet, not my e-mail address like it is for my other e-mails, it just says Even though I know that it isn't :confused:

Things to check:

Incoming Mail server (all details correct)
Outgoing Mail server (select Primary Server, check password is not set to Optional, but your password that you know)

Still nothing. Do you have btinternet on iPhone?

No, but i have 4 different accounts from exchange to googlemail ;)

I believe these are the settings for BTINTERNET

POP3: mail.btconnect.com
SMTP: smtp.btconnect.com

Also check that your username is correct, sometimes they are your full email address as it is with my virgin email ;)

guys could someone help please

i have an itouch and cant work out how to transfer apps to the itouch
so ive always just bought them and loaded them direct to itouch

but this seems silly as i have no back up etc, and ive just bought lets golf 2 through the computer and want to load it

only way i can see how to do this is to sync but a message comes up saying ill lose all apps, and i guess just leave me with lets golf? :-(

and i missing something here? please advise

if i buy an iphone surely i wont have to buy these again?

I'm starting to have enough of my iphone.
It's just crazy.
It's slow, not much is loading up, games stutter, cant connect to aps Etc.
What a load of bollocks. Ever since that update and the iphone 4 came out.

I even updated to the latest sofware a week ago, worked well for a day and now it's crap again.

If you've got a 3G iphone Stavros, Apple have officially stated there is a specific fix out soon for these handsets. Its what im waiting for!

I know. If it makes you feel better, there are MANY in the same boat as you. You can downgrade your OS back down to 3 but i have found if you go to General Settings and turn off all the spotlight searching the phone is alot better. But not what it was before the update.

What does spotlight search do ?

Slow your phone down! :p

Spotlight is the search feature if you swipe your phone to the left.

However it indexes EVERYTHING on your phone and it has slowed down all iphones that arent the iphone4.
