Safari is still a slow mess, though. :(

Despite Mrs_Blind's initial reservations she installed ios5 on her 3GS and has been delighted to find that, if anything, her phone seems "faster" following the update.

All in all Apple seem to have got this one right.

Tap the 'Books' button at the top and it brings up the collections on mine. Categories appear to still be there but you have to scroll the bookshelf down to get the search bar and list format button which then shows the categories.

Find in page isn't new to iOS5, it was there before.

I think that iTunes data comes under a separate plan. Around £25 per year was the figure I saw mentioned.

My ISP gives me quota-free access to a few sites including the iTunes store and the local version of iPlayer. I'm hoping that the iCloud stuff comes under that as well.

That relates to storing the data on Apple's servers. One would still need to pay the carrier for delivering the data from the server to your device.

Just to expand on this you can force a wireless sync at any time without power so I guess the power plug is used as a reason to do backup which makes sense I guess.

I (wrongly?) assumed that the op was worried about the amount of data he wanted to store rather than using the mobile data allowance to get it there. Presumably wifi would be the idea choice for that (if you can make that choice).

That's because Street is embracing his legal career to the full by making ambiguous statements. :)

Safari has always had that feature. If you type into the Google search box and scroll to the end, there is a 'find in page' option.
