Oh, okay - how weird. Perhaps it will correct itself or perhaps i'll try downloading a camera app to see if it's different. Battery is normal with mine.

Have you checked for jam on the lens?

andyocpfc 05-11-2012 02:20 PM

Jam?!?!

If you take a pic of a moving object, does yours blur?

Mine is an iPhone 4 BTW.

My battery I like this as well. I use it the same amount as I did with the 4 but I get home and I'm on 30-40% battery. Whereas on the 4 I used
To still have 60-70%. I have to do a mini charge when I get in for it to last me till I go to bed

So I had some computer problems earlier this year and I kind of lost the hard drive that had all my iTunes stuff on (apps/podcasts etc...)

I've been using my phone without iTunes and it's generally been fine.

Now I want to go back to using iTunes on a PC. How do I get the things off my phone onto the PC so that when I sync from the PC it won't replace the way I've got it on my phone?

Does that make sense?

I am having a bit of a guess here, but I have managed to go on iTunes before, and take up the option in one of the menus up top whereby you can unsync all previously synced computers etc.

Try that first. If you manage it, you should be ok.

Besides that, when you put a CD in the PC and iTunes opens, it automatically asks if you want to copy all the music to your iTunes account anyway.

Maybe someone else may be able to confirm, but I would suggest de-synching just in case, and then just plug it in and hope for the best.

google "senuti for PC"

I have used senuti (itunes backwards) for MAC successfully to transfer my iPod Touch library to iTunes - I think there's a PC version too although I have no experience of using it.

Just upgraded to an iPhone 5. My wife has inherited my old iPhone 4. How does she go about creating her own 'Apple ID'?
If I remove my ID from her phone, will it also remove it from my Macbook and new iPhone.
Also, can she create her own Apple ID just with her phone or does she need to do it on a computer? (she hasn't got her own computer but uses mine).

Create on computer or phone then just log in on device

You can still both use your apple ID for the store (so she doesn't have to buy apps again) too. Just in settings, general, iCloud, that you need to change the account from your apple ID to her new one.

It won't change anything on your MacBook or other phone. I did this when my girlfriend inherited my old phone, it's really easy.

Heb, thanks. I'm trying to create an Apple ID for her. I get through all the stages and when I click agree terms, it says that this domain (her email address) cannot be used with "mobile me" which I thought was now defunct?

I'll keep trying

Heb 7:4 18-12-2012 07:35 PM

Might be easiest to set the phone up from new. She probably won't want all the apps you have anyway. Do a restore to factory settings, then set her up as a new user. You make an apple ID when you are setting up. Then go into settings, store, and change to your apple ID and password for the store. You can then (either through the phone or via your computer) download for free any apps that she wants that you've already bought.

I don't think he wants one phone with two sets of apps. He wants two phones sharing the same set of apps. So only one password, which is easy.

I have three phones and two iPads set up with two iTunes accounts (both mine, but one UK and one US store). It's no problem really. You just make the passwords the same!

The problem happens when you try to iMessage or Facetime each other.

There is no problem at all. Every device has an apple ID set to its owner. I have my iPhone and iPad set to my apple ID as I want FaceTime and iMessage coming to both. My girlfriend only has an iPhone, so has her apple ID on that, and my mum has an iPad and iPhone but only wants iMessage going to her phone and FaceTime to her iPad. So while both her iPhone and her iPad have the same apple ID, she has set the caller ID of her phone iMessage to her phone number, and her iPad uses her email for FaceTime (I could still iMessage her iPad alone by using her email, but it will be a seperate conversation thread)

All of these devices use my apple ID for the app store.

kolinkins 19-12-2012 12:02 PM

Ah, I got the wrong end of the stick. I thought you meant you all shared Apple accounts

I purchased an iPhone 5 today with 2gb of data usage per month. For some reason when I'm connected to the Wi-Fi its taking it out of my data.. should it be doing this? I've tried tried turning off cellular but its still taking it out of my data for some reason, any ideas anyone?

Thanks.
