Television transmitted direct to your phone...

Cant wait. My mate works for Slingmedia and has promised a great app.

I'm gonna try and activate ours again now

Dave 10-04-2009 03:25 PM

Don't bother, I have been trying over and over

Kevin T 10-04-2009 03:36 PM

You get the technical difficulties screen I guess? The same one I've seen for months. Shall I pop round there?

Dave 10-04-2009 03:38 PM

Round where?

Lizzy 10-04-2009 03:39 PM

To Sky.

Kevin T 10-04-2009 03:40 PM

It's next door to my gym - although I've just come back from there.

Dave 10-04-2009 03:46 PM

I rang them, they said they have a single dial up server and the whole of the UK is trying to register their boxes to use it with the jeebus phone,

Wankers

Kevin T 10-04-2009 04:07 PM

I have no problem dialling in to connect to the server to register my phone from the tv. I can't activate the service on the website.

Dave 10-04-2009 04:45 PM

All working now

hong_kong_hg 10-04-2009 07:55 PM

You were correct(ish) Dave, I had registered my Sky box just the day before.

This has been like this every time I've tried in 2 months

Blind_Eagle 13-04-2009 10:24 AM

Worked ok for me but to be honest I can't really see me using it much.

Finally bought wundaradio on the recommendation of James. It's excellent.

I've downloaded GPSLite which seems a far more flexible sat nav that the built in one but not tried it in anger. I will report back.

at what point do you get that?

Isle of Wight 13-04-2009 10:33 AM

After the National Rail debacle London Underground are having a go but at least are doing the decent thing with an intro price of .59p. Gives you the map, best routes, est journey times etc. 59p well spent

thehound 13-04-2009 10:33 AM

Solitaire is quite addictive and cheap.

Highbury Eagle 13-04-2009 11:27 AM

Scramble is good and cheap at 59p

CPFC Cheerleader Observer 13-04-2009 11:28 AM

Virtual Pool is superb at 59p

If you are into golf video games "Let's Golf" by Gameloft is very good.
Seems to be the best golf app out there. Has killed quite a few hours.
$6 here so I'd imagine it would be 2-3 quid over there.
