You used to be quiet nasty, these days you appear more reasonable in your posts.

But, to me, you seem to be following me around to pick on anything where I go overboard.

There are plenty of posters saying some really nasty personal stuff at other BBSers on these boards - funnily, I dont see you weighing in then.

But if I make a throwaway comment on someones packed lunch habits, you are all over it like a rash.

Do I have a reason to feel concerned? You are either baiting me or think I am an insufferable prick that needs to be brought to task. I can accept either, but not some wishywashy excuse that is not you.

Indeed. But I am in the job of re-education. I have a very limited number of Palace shirts to give out. One or two a term. And if Sanchez moves to Man City all those hooky Arsenal shirts will be in the back of the closets and there will be Man City shirts everywhere.

Chilean men are mummys boys, and they have to support the team that are winning things or have a high profile Chilean and winning things.

They dont understand that you cant just change allegiances like that.

They are like Asian half and half shirt wearers.

You could take a step back and ask yourself why you’re letting the opinion of such people upset or bother you in any way?

If they’re hard wired to support their high profile Chilean in whatever team he plays for, I wouldn’t invest much time/energy in trying to change their perception. They might even entrench further to counter your efforts!

They’re probably enjoying getting a reaction from you.

Nah. Hard wired is not right. They are fed it like a child is fed yoghurt with a spoon. When every sports news item is focused on Chileans playing in Europe it becomes ingrained. It is the opium for the masses syndrome.

On Sunday nights they have a football round up - they start with the Chilean first division and concentrate 80% of that on three teams, Colo Colo, Univ de Chile, and Catolica. Then they brush past the other games. Much like our MOTD. Colo Colo are always mentioned even if they havent played, just because they want to keep the sheep that follow them happy.

They then do a waste of a segment called the international round up. This involves the Chileans that play abroad. They might show a goal from whoever the league leaders are in the Uk or Spain. But they will ignore all other matches and then show highlights of some Chilean no mark playing in the Turkish second division.

When Champions League comes around they will invariably show every Real Madrid and Barcelona game live - even if they are playing some team from Iceland. They would chose this over Man Utd vs Bayern or PSG vs Juventus on the same day.

I take the piss out of them TBH. And I bully them in class if they turn up in a Man Utd or Chelsea top. Because Chileans have never played for either team, and it just means that team is winning trophies in England or Europe at that particular time.

Those half and half Chelsea/Man Utd would sell like hot cakes here.

You know, Chileans first started wearing Man City shirts when Chilean Pelligrini was manager. Even though, he has stated that he has no intention of ever managing the national side or a club side in Chile.

For the most part they are too dense to think like that. Ask CT if you dont believe me.

Let me explain it better - have you seen Ty from Arsenal TV - that is the kind of people we are talking about.

Whereas most Palace fans wouldnt wear a Palace top outside of football day and going to the game.

Personally, I might occasionally don Palace cufflinks.

It is how we roll.

What about when he was manager of Malaga?

Less so. The change came when he went to Chile TV loving Real Madrid. Barcelona shirts were discarded en masse. It caused a lot of confusion because I think Sanchez was playing at Barcelona.

I think many had both shirts in the closet, and they would chose which to wear based on who performed better Sanchez or Pelligrini.

I tried to tell people that you cant support both Real Madrid and Barcelona, but that went on deaf ears.

But TBF they are not supporters.
