FWIW mate...everyone’s an idiot, but some are better at hiding it than others.

Quite. I spend half my time thinking "any minute now they're going to realise i haven't a scooby"
But I muddle through most things regardless.

The Mrs looking anxiously out the window every 5 minutes because of the lightest snowfall you could imagine. It's not even 'settling' and she's stressing that she won't be able to get to work next week FFS!

I'm just over the hill from you in Fetcham, and the Daily Mail was showing pictures of "snow" on Ranmore common (more like a bit of frost) Missus goes into panic mode, all she is worried about is getting snowed in and not having enough milk (she has two cups of tea a day tops)

I'm getting her a snow plough and a cow next Christmas to calm her down.

Show her this. More chance of someone putting up a miniature suprastadio in your back garden while you're asleep.

Similarly, people who get to pick and choose when they start and finish simply because they don't live within walking distance of the office. "Oh I'd better leave now or I won't get home til 7", so bloody what

Thanks fella. I've been living with bouts of depression since infancy and recently my therapist has suggested that I might think about getting a psychiatric review as there are manic/bipolar tendencies to my behaviour when I emerge from under the cloud.

In the meantime, I'm trying to find some balance through moderation and venting my frustration with the world on this thread.

Any ending to this sentence would do it for me.

On my first trip to Australia, I went for a swim at Bondi Beach. Imagine my surprise when I returned to my towel to find a colleague from the UK had laid his down less than a metre away.
