Thanks John. Must admit I've had to become pretty selective on what I collect nowadays due to a combination of the sheer volume being issued and the price.

I find myself largely going for the mass-produced low price everyday stuff, and in terms of the more limited stuff made for the American market, only if it really takes my fancy.

I do still enjoy tracking down obscure foreign only issues when World Cups and Euros come around though!

I really wonder if anyone, even the American collectors REALLY collect a whole set of these cards, considering that across a season there's a new card set on average every couple of months? The volume of new issues is staggering.

There are collectible trading cards (sort of like top trumps) with this seasons programme - 4 per issue

Cheers for the heads up, i'll see if they appear on ebay through out the season, going to cost a packet buying the programmes all season just for the cards
