I've got enough control over my fingers to not be desperate for the landscape keyboard, cut and paste isn't essential for my use, manage my calendar via other sources and I can't see where I'd use spotlight. The a2dp, yer, would like, but at the cost of what I'm already running? I've made do without for long enough that it doesn't make that big a difference.

So, kinda. Not just the theme, things like SBS make my life so much easier, tricker3g is essential when running Slingplayer, etc, etc. Could go on. Makes no sense for me to upgrade.

Having real problem with my itunes, cant get my iphone to sync or my new ipod, just my old one. Spoken to Apple but no luck.

I disagree with you (as usual it seems).

I really do not want to give up tethering (i.e. without having to pay a ridiculous supplement) and nor am I prepared to forgo Tricker 3g, which allows me to use the Slingbox application using the 3g network.

Fortunately it does appear as if a jailbreak will be available soon for the new firmware, so I am content to wait.

I just don't get tethering via an iphone - it's slow and sucks the battery - an easier, more robust method would be to use a dongle.

As for the slingbox over 3G - this just seems madness to me. Just use a laptop already.

Point 1. True but a dongle costs extra. Tethering on jailbroken iPhone is free.
Point 2. I don't want to take my laptop on my train commute every day, but being able to watch Sky Sports News on the train every morning is a joy
