No - but I had problems. Several of my paid-for applications stopped working for some reason and the IPhone kept crashing, so I have reinstated it for the time being.

One big triumph over the weekend however was successfully unlocking my T-Mobile USB 'Web and Walk' modem, using instructions found on the Web. The Sim Card from my IPhone 3g works fine with it, so I can use my new account with my Laptop and get the full 3g benefit.

Good news on the modem.

Bad news on the iphone, and it all sounds so simple according to the lifehacker instructions.

Oh and there are 64 gig Micro sd Cards on the Horizon, so you will be able to use this phone for a long long while.

I think it's good that there are lower end phones for people to cheap to get an Iphone.

I reckon the advertising Guru's have done a fantastic job with the Apple brand. It's amazing the kind of people they have sucked in.

No wonder people working in advertising get paid so well, they obviously push the right buttons.

The only thing lesser about the Viewty is the advertising revenue.

* Operating system
* Browsing experience
* Ipod experience
* Synchronisation
* App store

I always think there is something a bit desperate about people coming into forums/threads for Apple devices just to slag off an Apple device.

If the other devices are that good, then why such insecurity about the choice, which manifests itself in having to go look for Apple users to argue with?

I am simply offering an alternative, albeit in a theatre which doesnt want to believe.

I've used the Viewty a fair amount in the past. It has nothing on the iPhone in any sense other than the camera.

No, they are stored on the phone. When you backup your phone you can transfer to another phone.

The Mac also has the 'contacts' app, I can't speak for windowze
