Mate, I got the 32gb 3GS on Thursday at the apple store. They told me they only had 16gb in white, but lots of both colours in the 32. Not sure which you're looking for

LLCOOLSTEVE 27-07-2009 08:14 PM

32gb is a little too expensive right now

Definately download ifooty.

You can select a team (Palace of course) and it will give you running commentary on all matches, with stats. Plus also news from bbc sports and an updated League table. A must have! :p

Does anyone know if the shake to shuffle feature can be enabled when the phone is in sleep mode? It's very cool, but if I have to click the phone on, then slide to unlock, I might as well just touch the skip button too. I want to use it when jogging and just be able to give it a good shake to skip to the next track (though am wondering if the sensitivity can be changed too, so it doesn't just jump around when on my arm at the gym).

Had to turn it off on mine for gym use didn't really look into sensitivity as it ruined several sessions before I clocked the problem.

just a heads up to all those going on holiday and buying a bolt on in the last few issues of mac User there was someone who was monitoring their download usage by the preferences on the phone and then came back to a £200 bill plus their bolton of £50!!

The only way to truly check how much you have downloaded is to go to the o2 site and even then it may lag by 48hrs depending where you are in the world:p

eaglejez 28-07-2009 04:31 PM

Bought it just now.......they are couriering one over tomorrow..although I won't be in till Thurs now so won't be able to play with it till then !

Did I dream it or was there a 'BBS user friendly' method on it ?

Dave 28-07-2009 04:54 PM

I found it completely annoying and useless. Kept shuffling as I walked. I don't do shuffling mid song anyway.

Well, I've been looking into insurance options and this one seems to be the best I can find

http://www.iphoneinsurance2u.co.uk/index.htm

2u get decent reviews generally (though there are always people with bad experiences) but seem to insure the 3GS for £5.88 a month, and most importantly that includes loss (and 60 days cover abroad).

Dave 29-07-2009 01:47 PM

72 quid a year, fek

Heb 7:4 29-07-2009 01:55 PM

£105 over the length of my (18 month) contract :(

But weighing that up against anything happening to the phone and I think I have to get it. What does a new 32gb 3GS go for? Over £500 anyway. I'd never be able to fork out for that
