Do you have a mac or a pc?

If you have a mac you can sync all your contacts across to your mac and into address book then sync them over to your iphone through Itunes

on your old phone did you store the contacts on the sim card or the phone memory, on Nokias you can usually copy between the two

Yes, this is a very important security update

I backed it up to version 3.0 again, didn't want to risk the new one

Dave 01-08-2009 06:01 PM

With respect, I doubt your upgrade woes are anything to do with the new software itself, it's just sometimes upgrades need intervention

I always have such a difficult time with phone contracts, not sure if anyone can help me.

I’m on T Mobile through carphone warehouse at the moment, what is the easiest way to simply get a new I phone 16 gig in black, because I am struggling?

I have requested by PAC code from T Mobile as I understand you need this to be able to keep your same number if you want to change network (ie to 02), when I was on the phone to T Mobile they basically refused to give me the PAC code to my great frustration, they was trying every trick in the book. Telling me they couldn’t give it to me because it would automatically cancel my contact (which I didn’t want to happen at the time) and that I needed to speak to the cancellation team first before I could get the code.

Eventually, after the third person I spoke to, they finally beat it out of me that I wanted to get an I Phone through 02, and to my confusion T Mobile offered me the I Phone but said I had to pay 200 odd quid for the handset, I told them 02 could offer it for 80 quid so they told me to call back in a week and they will beat them.

My main concern is that I don’t want to walk into carphone warehouse, get the I Phone on 02 (on an upgrade) and end up paying for 2 contracts over 2 months, which has happened to be last time.

Any advice on easiest way to do it? Online or in store, I really hate mobile phone companies.

It's nothing major but if you don't update then someone can send you a modified text with malicious code that would let them hijack your phone, steal your identity and well anything else they wanted to do really and you'd be none the wiser.

Also, 'double-clicking' the screen on a part of a webpage zooms in on the table cell. Try it.
