RIP Spencer Davis
Spencer Davis has passed away sadly. The Spencer Davis Group were very popular in the Mod clubs of the mid 60's and are held up highly among Mods still today. Great songs blasted out by the great Stevie Winwood

Their albums are one of the first go to records when I want to drift back to those great days of the 60's

RIP Spencer

That is sad news. Great musician and great band.

First saw the band in 1968 at the Royal Albert Hall. It was a Folk/Blues concert in aid of Czech students wanting to stay in Britain after the Russians invaded their country.

Brilliant lineup with Julie Felix, Blonde On Blonde, Georgie Fame, Jethro Tull, Roy Harper, Spooky Tooth, Alan Price, Family, Joe Cocker, Spencer Davis, Taste, Yes and Al Stewart.

Really sad to hear this. One of my favourite bands from the 60s.
RIP Spencer, your music will live on.
