I would assert that this applies to almost all sports (other than AFL and gaelic football, which really are shite ;) ).

Firstly, AFL is an absolutely cracking sport.

Secondly, I think I possess a decent enough understanding of both American football and water polo to be able to come to the conclusion that they're both pretty shit.

He's fishing. Slag off American rounders if you want to poke him back.

American football is excellent.

let's be honest, curling is proper shithouse

I like most sports I think, but I wouldn't watch sailing, dressage (if that's what it is called), rowing or golf. The latter mainly because I've never played it as I'm concerned that I'd become addicted and see even less of my family.

I like all sports apart from hurling and gaelic football.

I've just had to google hurling as I had no idea what it was and it looks to be one of the most stupid yet one of the most riveting sports in the world.

Ice Skating. Can't bear it.

I had a go at playing hurling when I was at school and it is very hard to play.

Quite enjoyed both of them when watching on Sky on a lazy afternoon. The scoring system can get to **** but both are pretty entertaining as it goes

******* brilliant.

I remember it used to be on channel 4 when I was a kid. Not like it is now, all glitz and glamour. I didn't, and still don't, have a ******* clue what's going on. But it's wonderful to watch for a few mins.

I remember the C4 programmes, I think it was presented by Gerupta Lineker and the commentator was John John Motson.

It was a game of tag/it where the person who was it wasn't allowed to breath in and after taking a big breath had to continually say kabaddi over and over to prove it. Naturally it was a game played by us in the curry house after pub kick out time shortly after it was discovered. Well we tried but I kept trying to hold breasts instead of breath.

Anyway, shit game.

What? Glitz and Glamour? I was remembering the version that was played what appeared to be oversized sandpits. There is another version? A monied version? WTF?

Looks like I am going to have to take my own advice and google kabaddi

From what I can tell, Kabaddi just looks like a bunch of Indian guys got awfully drunk, found a large area of grass and started chasing each other with their shirts off and somehow it became a sport people actually play.

KYLIE MINEAGLE 20-04-2016 07:04 AM

Basketball why not just play the last two minutes.
