RIP CP Lee

Sad news of the passing of the great CP Lee. Leader of the legendary Alberto y Lost Trios Paranoias. Nights at The Greyhound in the mid 70s. But he was so much more than that. Condolences to his family and friends.

Heads down, no nonsense, mindless boogie.

I wondered what happened to her after she divorced Paul Weller.

Went off and recorded Tip Toe through the Tulips.

Man, only just got round to finding out this sad news :(

One of the original Alberto band members who forensically took the piss out of the best rock stars.

My favourite tracks: Anadin, Jesus Wept and Dread Jaws :p

My copy of 'When we were thin' signed by CP Lee remains a treasured item

RIP feller

One of the most hilarious live acts of the period. I can't see any reference to it anywhere, but I swear they had a 7 foot polystyrene vagina stage prop called 'Eric'. He was a good writer as well - a really good take on the Manchester scene of the late Seventies.
