Oddly enough we had a geezer come round tonight to quote for a blind for our lounge window. It's a decent size - a square bay if you like - 3 window centre and one at each side. £79 inc fitting. Thought was very reasonable. He's done some others for us and they're decent quality.

I bought a job lot of 'sunwood' ones from a 4 bed house with conservatory in coventry, 2 years old, for 200 quid. Managed to do most of the front of the house today, just had to piss around shortening them and dealing with some lintel in the recess above the bedroom windows. Should have enough big ones left over to do the flat as well if i can chuck them on the back of a herc :) Probably a false economy though as will be on it again all day tomorrow :(

Had a bit of a route home and got back at half seven in the morning. Went via leyton, shenfield, enfield, hemel hempstead and coventry. Spent nearly an hour trying to refind the back entrance to corley services, before giving up and going into coventry itself :) Could hardly see out the windows what with the door thresholds, projector, floor tiles and millions of window blinds and me and me daughter in a citroen c1 :D still we saw the funny side for a while i suppose, till exhaustion overtook us.

The fact that every time I turn to BBC America there is "Star Trek, The Next Generation" on. On the rare occasions that it is not "Top Gear" is on.

What's that all about?

BBC America is such a crap channel considering the back catalogue the BBC have and could show.
Does anyone watch it anyway? How many times can you see Top Gear and Star Trek NG repeats?

I certainly don't - What is odd is STNG is not even British (is it?).

Not knowing what the palace fixture dates are and having to go to another website to check them.
