Just when they hit the big time.

Spindle 07-10-2021 11:40 AM

How will they storm europe without the best midfielder in the premier league?

Mr Palace 07-10-2021 11:44 AM

Club full of rapists and nonces.

Good to see the NKC is toeing the party line with a thread that only its supreme leader can post on.

Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable in Palace fans revelling in oneupmanship over the fact that a Brighton player has been accused of sexual assault, perhaps forgetting that at the end of the allegation is a victim?

Jokes about noncing/sexual assault stats really does derogate the possible seriousness of the crime and the impact on the victim.

I don't understand where the "nonce" insults come from. Was the person in Dunk's case underage?

Nonce means any sex-offender, although it is generally used for paedophiles.

Spindle 07-10-2021 01:15 PM

Has Biss appointed Dunk as his legal counsel yet?

Not On Normal Courtyard Exercise.

Refers to prisoners segregated for their own safety. Sex offenders and more generally paedophiles.

It's a large building with patients.

I’ve only ever seen “nonce” used as slang for paedophile, so was confused why it was used here.

And we learn something every day.

I suppose it could even apply to banged up grasses and ex police officers.

Looking at this purely from the football perspective. He won't be allowed to play for the foreseeable will he. Will probably scupper any big money moves in January. If convicted could he become a worthless asset.

Don't think so. Think it's strictly sex offenders

Looking purely at the football side, there are no rules that stop him from playing (yet). But I would be astonished if a club would play him until this has been settled one way or another. Still Brighton previously played someone charged with this sort of thing, and palace played a known rapist, so I expect to be astonished again.

As for being transferred, again you would hope clubs would want to know the outcome before dropping any coin, but see Ronaldo, Cristian
