Just received an iphone on 02 £30.00 a month tariff, what I can't work out is if receiving and sending emails included in the tariff, anyone know?
Thanks |
It is included - counts as data.
I'm going to have to cave and get a case of some sort, already got nasty scratches in the plastic after less than a month. Preferably something grippier than the gloss plastic as I keep dropping it on concrete. |

My old phone wouldn't have made it through last night. :) |
i just got an iphone 8gb £24 a month with 600 mins and 600 texts free a month and free internet and wifi
|
Has anyone taken the phone abroad? Is roaming enacted automatically? What about internet access? Any idea of the charges?
Answers by the end of today, please. ;) |

Nightmare!
Only had the phone for a month and it's decided it doesn't want to send text messages anymore. Done a full restore and everything that o2/Apple have told me to. Still won't work. Seems to be quite a widespread problem having done a google search. There is a fairly long thread on the o2 forums about it... http://forum.o2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?...er=asc&start=0 The woman I phoned at o2 said I should send the phone off for repair but that could take ages for the phone to come back to me. I'm going to take it into the Apple shop on Regents Street tomorrow and hope they give me a new one... really don't fancy waiting for the best part of a month for them to repair it or decide to send me a new one. |
Are you sure it's away for a month, fairly sure I read they were replaced in ten days

To be honest even 10 days is too long. I really hope the apple store give me a new one tomorrow. |
If you bought from 02 why would Apple exchange it?
|
Some people on that o2 forum claim they had theirs replaced at Apple shops.
|
Let us know how you get on
|
Will do!

Does anyone know if, having gone and bought an 8gb iPhone, you can 6 months later go and exchange it for a 16gb one instead (at a cost, of course!)?
|
I haven't heard of anyone being allowed to do that.

Only applies if you have a contract, obviously. |
