That's the other reason I haven't put any music on the iPhone yet, it just seems so cumbersome. I just can't face moving all the music into the iTunes library, I always used a little Creative Nano before. Also the phone itself is big and heavy and I can't imagine listening to it walking down the street or cycling or whatever.
That said the phone is amazing, just think the logical thing to do might be just to bring a few records onto the hard disk when you're about to go on holiday or on a long train trip.

El Aguila 10-04-2009 11:40 PM

Anyway, is there a way to select some several photos from my hard disk (I have around 2,000 which I need to sort out, delete etc) and shove 'em on the phone?
Just the ones I want, 20 odd?

In ITunes you can select an option to import photos from a specific library on your pc. So, copy the 20 you want into its own separate place and then link to that.

When i first got my iphone i put all of my music onto it, i've not listened to it once!

Changing the music is a huge chore.

I haven't worked out how (or if!) I can put music on the phone then delete off my laptop.

I do use mine to listen to music as a week before I got mine I had my ipod thieved.

I use my iPhone to listen to music all the time. I don't quite know what you freaks are all moaning about.

How is functionality any different on any other ipod?

Ta

I actually love it, in fact I have loved it since I first set eyes on it and was over the moon when I asked it out and it said yes, of course. We have been together a while now and marriage is on the cards, I am so happy.

And of course, Spain is an hour ahead of the UK, except for the Canaries.

It's great that you loons need another 16 gigas to fill up with music you'll never listen to, and are prepared to pay 100 smackers for it. That's how come I get given an 8 giga iPhone for free by Telefonica.

I like having all my music on one system.
I have about 60GB worth of music so cant all go on one Iphone.
But have just enough for the odd journey on my iphone.
really need a 100gb iphone for with a better battery for everything.

I think I've got about 8GB of music on mine, and I listen to lots of it.

Is there anyway to send more than one photo at a time using email through the iPhone? I'm trying to use hotmail through the 'mail' function, rather than through any application or safari.

Not just music though. I currently have a couple of films, TV series as well as my music and it is always nearly full, 16GB is only just enough.

Can any of the IT bods on here look at the following link and let me know if the app/development is anything close to providing a remote desktop connection? That would be brilliant. Or decipher it at least?
It all looked fairly promising to me initially, but my computer knowledge (which I thought was OK) doesn't extend this far.....

Any brave soul want to try this.

Dual sim on the Iphone !

Let me know how you go..... It's to do with buying a phone on a plan and cheap running costs with the other sim.

Heres how to set up the phone and the video is for the hardware.

Can any one recommend a decent dock (preferably with remote) that I'd be able to connect up to my Bose Wave Radio?

jimos_uk 21-04-2009 01:19 PM

I've got a bit of a question.

Tried to pair the iphone with my bluetooth Garmin Nuvi sat nav - never had any trouble with other phones, but when paired to the iphone, the sat nav would constantly switch off. Is this something within the iphone? It still works fine with my other mobiles...
